LES JARDINS VIVANTS

Tino Kuban starts his project as a winegrower by taking over the estate of Bernard Van Berg in Meursault and calling it “Les Jardin Vivants”. There he manages 1.5 ha of vineyards with negligible yields, partly planted on tutors (echalas, like Leroy, just to make a name). Yields are kept below 10hl/ha and the load per strain does not exceed 4 bunches. The harvest is carried out in the morning, in several steps (up to 4) to collect only the grapes at their optimal ripening and be able to make a maniacal selection. In the cellar it makes wine in the most natural way possible. Vertical press without pump, everything happens by gravity and without transfers. Whole bunches and new Stockinger barrels.

Tino, today by many, is considered one of the most important and beautiful news of the panorama Borgognone. The production is microscopic as far as the wines of the Domaine are concerned, while for those that we negotiate we have some more bottles.
