Two boys: Gabriel and Simon Scheuermann. They have been growing organic grapes since 2012 and in recent years have also introduced biodynamic cultivation methods. In this way they try to keep their vineyards in balance and give their vines a healthier environment.
Step by step the experience, the work, the sacrifices, the entering in symbiosis with the environment around them, allows them to understand what makes a healthy soil, a healthy grape, first with their hands and then with their head. In summary, we can summarise their philosophy in these few lines:
“making wine is a social act in which we discuss, laugh and especially spend much time together. One thing is clear to us: we do not accept compromises. We work in a traditional way, avoid any intervention when possible and trust our wines. Wine needs time to become wine. Here in the cellar, yeast and bacteria work in complete peace of mind”.
The Scheuermann company cultivates 31 hectares of vineyards. Most of the grapes are sold, but the grapes from the best locations are used to produce their phenomenal range of wines: Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (also vinified as Bollicina).
